Clean Drinking Water for Healthier Communities

Sembcorp’s clean drinking water project for the local communities helps reduce the risk of waterborne diseases. Clean and safe drinking water is vital for good health.

At our renewables sites across several states, we helped install safe drinking water outlets in local schools, ensuring access to safe and dependable water for the students in the area. This initiative has improved the health of children in these schools, leading to increased school attendance by reducing waterborne illness.

Awareness campaigns are also conducted for the local villagers to educate them about the benefits of safe drinking water. Our drinking water initiatives are not only making a difference to more than 4,500 families and 4,300 students across various locations where Sembcorp operates but also contributing towards the achievement of the UN SDGs.
