Job Description for Manager (Taxation)

We are inviting qualified candidates to apply for a position in our procurement team, based in our Gurgaon office. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, the successful candidate will be accountable for managing renewable technologies, overseeing supply chain operations, and conducting financial analysis. Applicants must exhibit a sound understanding of industry trends, government policies, and the latest technological advancements within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Estimation and financial planning for ongoing and prospective Solar & Wind projects, leveraging appropriate assumptions and driving/pioneering cost-effective practices.
  • Analysis and understanding of project costing, including data trends, source collection, and report generation. Supports team negotiation by providing comparative data across supplier estimates.
  • Acumen for the dynamics of key commodities in the renewable sector, understanding past and predicting future trends, recognizing key market players, global tariffs, trade, and project sensitivity in relation to commodities.
  • Oversee data analytics, intelligence matrices, and MIS preparation related to commodities, market positioning, competitiveness, and business intelligence.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis on project variables at individual and collective levels.
  • Lead in ensuring compliance with audits and controlling costs.
  • Identify and analyse factors impacting costs, such as production time, materials, and labour.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical documents to prepare accurate estimates.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, clients, and contractors.
  • Review, analyse, and adjust project estimates as necessary.
  • Recommend strategies for cost reduction and optimization.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders.
