About Green Infra Wind Energy Limited

Green Infra Wind Energy Limited (GIWEL), promoted and owned by Sembcorp Green Infra Limited (SGIL). SGIL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Utilities Pte. Ltd. (SCU), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries Limited (SCI), which is listed on the main board of the Singapore Exchange.

GIWEL is engaged in the development and operations of renewable power projects and allied activities. At present, GIWEL owns and operates 801.2 MW wind based power projects spread in 7 locations across 4 different states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat. Apart from these wind projects, GIWEL through its subsidiary Green Infra Renewable Energy Limited (GIREL), is operating 249.9 MW wind power project in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. Further, Green Infra Renewable Projects Limited, another subsidiary of the Company has secured and is under the process of implementation of a 400MW SECI Solar Power Project.

The Company is in the process of implementation of 199.6 MW Captive Power Projects through its various Subsidiaries.

GIWEL presently sells electricity generated from the operating portfolio of 801.20 MW to various state DISCOMs and SECI.
