Environment and Climate Action

Our vision for a greener tomorrow drives Sembcorp's environment and climate change initiatives in India.

We actively promote afforestation, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience through programs such as the development of green corridors from urban wastelands, supporting carbon reduction efforts and promoting healthier local ecosystems.

Recharging groundwater levels and promoting sustainable agriculture through organic manure are amongst our various initiatives, in collaboration with our NGO partners, to support the National Action Plan on Climate Change (NAPCC).

Enabling a low-carbon future is one of our foremost priorities. An example of how we encourage the adoption of renewable energy is how we helped Museo Camera, a popular landmark in Gurugram which endaeavours to celebrate the story and evolution of photography, with energy efficient rooftop solar systems.
